Jakarta. Rupiah boleh?

Okays, I have not blogged for ages and trying to revive this blog is gonna be a hell of a task, but let me attempt the impossible. Gonna try to blog about my travel escapades for this year.. if I can, *wish is likely not gonna happen* maybe last year too.
Well the reason its gonna be a freaking huge project is caused I travelled 12times this year already! Crazy righttt. But Im not gonna stop.. So enough said. Let me share my Jakarta trip..
So th day before th trip, I went to change money. And man, I had a rude shock. Th amount of money they gave me just for changing $400 was ginormous man. One whole thick stack. Like can put in briefcase that kind. When th uncle asked me to double check, it took me sooooo damn long just to check th correct amount of notes.

So we caught th evening flight on friday cause my cousin had work before. We had macs before that and we realised we had only 15mins till departure time, and the best part?
we havent passed thru immigration yet! Holy smoke! So we quickly chomp down th food and rushed to th gate.

Was trying to cover up to respect th muslim over in Jakarta. So good right. I even told my sis not to bring any shorts! Must respect leh.

Welcome to Jakarta! It was only an hour's flight away.

Gosh, just after we touched down and walked out of the aircraft. Some random stranger came up and talked to me already.
He was asking if Im indonesian when my bright red passport was in my hand and its so visible. Quite dumb right! Okays nvm, so I told him I was singaporean and going Jakarta for holiday. He was asking whats my plans for th night and where I was staying, my surname and my number. -.-
Persistent guy.
Okays, so I told him.
Than when we were reaching immigration, we had to split right? So he said:"I'll see you at your hotel lobby later! I'll drive you around to club! Your surname is yow right? I'll check with th receptionist."
omggggg, creepy much!!!! wtf. I thought answering his questions can make him get lost. Dammit.
Immigration was confusing because usually, the big sign IMMIGRATION would be too hard to miss, but their form of immigration is “visa on arrival” which made us think we need visa or something.

After clearing immigration, we got approached by many taxi companies offering 300,000Rp for a ride. We managed to clinch a deal with a private van for hire for 200,000 for all of us including toll fees. A long trip of about an hour?

Checked in at Atlantic Hotel

The hotel seemed pretty decent, just a little rundown and dirty, but livable. We seek much information from the counter boys and continued our journey to Sarinah area for some local street food hunt. Cabbing there was about 20,000Rp cause the driver happily took our change.

After walking rounds and rounds, and on the verge of giving up, we finally found bright florescent lights streaming across the streets with what supposedly looks like the place is buzzing. We were drawn to it and was pleasantly surprised to find that we had reached!

We began hunting for food names that strike some familiarity and settled for Nasi goreng and some oolong drink that looks like coke for 13,000Rp.

We walked on to find Martabak that was “sedap” to the max. The sauce was literally to die for! Its called curry chicken, by the vendor. Another 17,000 was forked out for the meal.

Than we scram to the stall just beside it selling satay and ordered a plate worth 14,000Rp.

We shamelessly used the free Wi-Fi outside of Hot Planet Restaurant on the way back. Bought 2 bottles of water costing 6,000 total.

After some failed attempts at getting a reasonable price for Bajaj, we went to seek for a taxi. Just then, the Bajaj driver came and we shouted 15,000 and he’s reluctant face just nodded.
The Bajaj is the Tuk tuk of Jakarta. It was pretty fun. And it managed to comfortably fit all of us.

Had a good night's sleep. Morning breakfast.

Not really my style and taste. But when you're hungry, anything goes.

Cant believe I had to cover up when I went down for breakfast too.

Took a cab down to Pasar Tanah Abang..

They have 2 different blocks. Block A and Block B.

When we entered.. we wanted to leave already. Raya clothings? hello. Where's th normal clothes?

So we continued on walking and walking..

Till we bump into th escalator and looked up. omfg.

A&W for lunch! :) Misses th waffle burger.

So we went shopping at Pasar Pagi Mangga Dua too after which, we went to roam around its area and happen to find a train track. Th opposite side of where we were standing was th slums.

Feels like india uh..

Traffic in Jakarta needs no introduction.

First food stop outside the shopping place.. fuckin awesome fishcake..

Than we moved to th stall beside it selling HUGEEEE meatballs. Th size of my fist, literally!

Than we stood up and moved again to th next stall, just beside it again to try this omelette lookalike.

Another stall again for th noodles. We kept eating and eating non stop sia!! And th thing was we just eat, and go to th next stall beside it and sit down to eat again. Wtf. 3 pigs sia.

Than we went to th malls. Finally. Some aircon. We went to th Blok M area.

All their malls have so many levels can! Freakin insane.

Had a dispute with th receptionist, trying to charge us more. We finally won th battle. No way she can out-win us. We spoke like a shotgun until she confused also. haaha..

Oh yah, we rented this bicycle which has a shade and took wheeler driver. Damn cool.
We cycle 5mins and we're begging to rent a car. It was mad hot outside and it was darn tiring.

Fuckin tiring man, see easy. Wait till you try it. You'll be begging for mercy.

Argh, super long hiatus! Been so busy travelling, going out, training and etc. Really had no time to blog. Really hope I can catch up with th posts man. Its gonna be damn crazy.

So my 19th is finally here. Been dreading/anticipating it. Cause Im always afraid it'll turn out bad but at th same time, I really cant wait to wakeboard :)

Plans today:
1. Brief breakfast at bedok interchange
2. Wakeboarding at punggol
3. Mark's place for scary movie/cake surprise
4. Dinner with family at Pariss
5. Stroll along Esplanade

Anyway, I am very grateful for all th wishes. Was so shocked I had so many wishes. 200 or more. I must start wishing happy birthday to people already. hahah!

gah! Im totally not looking forward to next year october! :( dont wanna be 20! ohgosh.

We met up in school again for project today before I left early to go parkway to meet Vans.

We went to grab some yoshinoya and yogurt and I saw Mr Edwinpoh, what a surprise. haha. Something embarrassing happened today too. Not gonna say it.

Its always nice meeting up with vans to chat and before I knew it, I was late in meeting Jess because of my embarrassing incident.

Sorry babe! :( Im a happy girl right now! Ive been wanting to cable and wakeboard behind boat for th longest time ever and Im finally gonna cable today!

I must go back and train more man. Im always falling at th same spot, at th buoys. But at least I tried th water ski and its so fun too! :) hahhaa.

And how can anyone say I look like Hannah Montanah! I think I look 90% like Steve aoki after washing my face at night. I dont know why too. Every night I see a steve aoki right before I sleep. Creepy yo.

FINALLY. Its like I can finally strike off halo halo on my craving list.

Ive been craving for Halo Halo since febuary when I went to philippines. Its one of my FAVOURITE dessert. Its like th philippines version of Ice kachang but wayyyy nicer cause they have lechan cake bits and ice cream and everything else nice.

I met Jess and Prashan at Ion before we walked over to really overcrowded lucky plaza. That place looks like its gonna collapse anything soon with th amount of ppl in it man. Pinoys refugee camp in orchard. Not bad eh. HAHAH. So we went up and up and finally found th pinoy eating place I came with my mom last time...

So pissed with them as they keep giving me cup while th rest had transparent glasses. Asshole. Trying to cheat me of my small bits inside is it? And I cant believe I ate 2 cups at one go. So full like crazy. I could roll on th floor and not get up.

Another funny thing, while eating, th place was playing jingle bells song with a club bass downstairs one level that is so loud it was rocking our table and th whole tagalog conversations filling th place.. it was mad chaotic. hahah! What an experience.

We walked over to FEP where I did my nails than to pastamania to chill a bit...

Before settling at EWF at orchard central. I also got my 12 makeup brushes from SASA. Im gonna master th art of eyeshadow. I really suck at make up man. And everytime I go clubbing, I always see th hot girls with their super skillfull makeup that makes that look even hotter.

We totally missed out th movie timings and was roaming around picturehouse instead...

Sigh, Im so fat now :(

Five patties at a go

September is like a wierd month. Full of events and project meetings. Its like I dont know its th happening month or th boring month. Like just 2 days ago I was at avalon and today im going school on a saturday for a project meeting.

So I had dinner with family today and it was a change in plans. We initially fixed on thai food, than I randomly asked my parents if they wanted macs and the next thing we knew, we were settling comfortably in a corner.

We ordered double of everything. Double fillet meal upsize, double mcspicy meal upsize, quater pouder meal and double cheese burger.

and we were so babarians. Mostly my fault cause I wanted daddy's fillet, sis's mcspicy patty and mom's beef patty. In th end, I was chomping down 5 patties and 1.5 large fries. I feel like Im becoming a lard anything soon.

HAHAH, dont you dare eat my burger!

HAHA daddy is always so cute!

We went to walk around but that 5 patties is not digesting in my stomach. Shit. I need to see a shit doc soon.

Today is finally th day Ive been waiting for since forever! Okay, not forever but since I bought th tix which was almost a month ago?! Ive been looking forward to this wayy more than hongong trip, dont kow why too. I even downloaded songs onto my phone to prep me up for it. But first, Ive gotta start th day off with some spoiler...

Met up with Z early in th morning for our medical check up for our OCP trip.. than we had lunch at swensens...

We went to school after for some MP project meeting with Pravin. So darn tired that when I reached home, I slept straight away. Which made me late like crazy cause I overslept. Crap.

Met Z at esplanade and it was super screwed up cause everywhere is road block because of th F1 thing. Shit. We kept walking and walking to find taxi area and ended up at fullerton hotel sharing cab with a guy who was going MBS too. And he was so nice enough to pay our cab fare :)

Back here again :) I was here like 2 days ago luh! hahah.

First time putting falsie and th falsie is damn good cause it really makes me look like I put eyeliner but I didnt. Ohhh, so many hot girls at th event... phew. Burning th whole place down. haha.

Oh did I mention we kept spamming th carlsberg photobooth? hahaha..

We went drinking at th back of mbs.. and check this out... HAHA.

I was so freakig close to them I swear. And I saw his shoes in shenzhen ! Omg. We almost bought th shoe somemore, shit, why didnt we!!

Gosh, I was so thirsty screaming all out since major lazer I almost died of dehyration... and when jon passed me th jug, omg. My savior. Really. I thought I was going die young luh.

I cant believe Major lazer picked me to go to stage but I didnt because th security guard didnt see and by th time I was trying to hop over.. it was too late already. SHITT. But it was damn good. I was in front like half th time and screaming my hearts and brain out especially for flo rida.

Omg. It was really a fun and crazy night. So many photographers took our photos but I dont know where they posted it. Only managed to see th stomp and plussixfive ones..

OMG. AVALON is AWESOME :) Makes clubbing in singapore boring already. HAHA. Im looking forward to th launch of avalon club and zoukout! Heard its good :) hehehe.

I slept about 5-6am? and Woke up about 8am I think. Cant remember th exact time but I knew we got up very early to swim. Th rest continued sleeping. But I know I really wanted to see th view in th daylight. I loved it more than th night view..

Th whole deck is damn cool cause you dont really feel like you're in singapore. You just feel like youre in Malibu or Las vegas just that there are more asian people. Good or what :)

Th 2 continued tanning while I returned to th room to bathe and look what I found hanging outside th door...

Before we check out...We caught some quite famous dance movie and camwhored..

We checked out pretty late, about 3pm? When check out time was supposed to be 11am? Than we cabbed over to marina bay station before we left for home sweet home. Need some rest badly!

19th and all th babies

Argh, sorry for th really long hiatus. Had been so busy with all th events ever since I came back from Hongkong that I didnt really had th time to blog.

Today's is one of my best friend's birthday - Vanessa. If you know us, we new each other for so long. 15-16 years? Thats almost my whole life. No joke. For th past 15-16 years, I didnt really get to celebrate her birthday with her except recently like last year one. And this year, Im so happy I can celebrate with her, her big day of th year.

So we met up at 5plus at Bedok station with th girls and trained down to cityhall. Than we walked all th way till we spotted makansutra and stopped by for some early dinner first.

That makansutra place I thought was supposed to taste good since its opened by that food king? Apparently its not that nice. Oh well. We carried on walking towards th helix bridge...towards MBS.

We went to th VIP area for check-in while th girls camwhored at th couches....

We got th 11th storey. Still not that bad luh...

and th room for th night...th cool thing was th moment we opened th door, th curtains automatically open and shows us th ugly construction view outside. Er, okay.

Th toilet that has no lock at th door...

Oh this is damn cool... It looks like my wallet.. but...

It a remote control cover! I must say, th amenities are not bad man... Even th waste bin doesnt even look like waste bin. Looks like some storage box.. haha.

Complimentary chocolates and water... but th fridge is scary. Th moment you take any item out and do not return it within 30secs, you'll be charge for th item even if you did not drink it or smth..

When everyone came, we took th other lift to th 57 storey to th sky park. Th security guard was damn good. He let like 20+ over people to th skypark and let us swim too when each room permits only 2 people to swim. So lucky right! After vans had to settle her family's arrival and all, we quickly dived into th pool before it closes an hour plus later..

It felt so great being able to swim on top. I mean, I always admired th people from below who could swim on top.. now I finally was able to swim! :) Its one of th best feeling ever. Th view is just spectacular. I didnt even want to leave th place till th lifeguard chases us away because they were closing th pool already. Shirley and Douglas had to leave early....They missed out so much fun man!

I was crazily doing my jumps from th chair to th bed...until I fall hard on th floor. Gosh. So embarrassing for crying out loud. haha.

After all th camwhoring, I finally went to bathe and we began to play our games... blind catching and our card games an murderer and all... super fun..

Throughout th whole night, we kept eating and eating cup noodles, famous amos cookies, curry puff, old chang kee fish ball and stuffs. Just a hell lot of food to sastify our hungry stomach. They even odered macs. omg.

And after all th crazy games and all.. we slept a bit till next day...

Why I say its th same old bunch is because im going to meet Hongkees again for my afternoon hongkong flight, which I was on exactly 5 days ago, as a passenger. Hongkong flight with Airwan, Bobby and another filipina crew. It was good :) Airwan is nice haha.

Now everytime I see those hongkong passengers, I also feel like stabbing myself. How can I ever forget to eat dim sum while I was back in Hong Kong. I cant believe my puny brain cabpabilities sometimes.

Really looking for th coming week with my week gonna be packed with activities :)

Supah dupah looking forward to Avalon. Even more than my Hong Kong trip. I even downloaded songs to my phone to prep up for th event. Whee ~ :) Just worried Ive got nothing to wear.

roll roll, shit did I just roll?

When I unpacked my luggage, I realised I didnt buy much after all.

I mean 6 shoes, 2 bags, 3 magazines, some snacks, 4 bras, 3luggage tags, 2 wallets, 3 socks, mascara, pouches, 1 sunglass and watch, 6 cans of beer and a few piece of clothing. Shit man!

And Im totally so stupid to leave my plastic bag at th shop. Maybe I left more stuffs I didnt even know.

I felt so satisfied during this trip. I mean, I get to actually try local food:
- Smelly toufu
- Milk tea
- Wanton Mee
- Pork bun
- Dumpling

Did some sightseeing:
-Kowloon park
-Hong Kong Island and boat ride
-Club scene in SZX

Even played some cheap thrill at some lame "themepark"
- Paradise of th red apple

This trip was so impromptu admist th MP period and we didnt prepare much. I didnt do ANY research about Shenzhen AT ALL. Even Z didnt. And we still survived, without anything getting stolen.

Shenzhen is eminent for thriving number of theives. I mean we did get con by th taxi driver and for my leopard print dress, red nails but if we didnt, we cannot say we're tourists anymore.

Didnt do much research on Hongkong either, and th last time I went there was like 6 years ago? But we managed to walk back to our hostel everytime. No matter how far we went.

So cause Im having a flight tmr, Im going to pack my entire wardrobe today. And Z just reminded me th roll method which I did to all my clothes for my luggage on th way back...

So I started rolling my clothes....this is th back part...

I successfully managed to roll 1/2 of my clothes into 2 rows.. which meant 2 times of this... but then I realised, Im majorly dumb. This is totally workable for a luggage. For a wardrobe?! No way. Now, how th hell am I going to get th jeans that is at th back of my wardrobe when I have my first layer blocking th second layer?! Woah, so smart eh diana.

Screw this. Im going to rest. I hate my clothes now. I need new clothes!

Lets get lost - Hongkong/Shenzhen Day 4/5

So unpredictable. A moment ago I was mass blogging seven posts to fill a week, than I abruptly paused in th middle of th trip for a few days than begin to blog again. I need to knock some consistency into myself. Sigh.

So yesterday night, that indiaboy ate his laksa maggie and th whole room smelt so delicious suddenly. That arse. I resisted and this morning, while he was still asleep, I quickly made myself my beef noodle from hongkong using th comb he used yesterday. HAHA. We are so pathetic, but cant help it, we arent provided with forks and spoons. I feel I could take part in survivor already haha.

Omg, I totally missed out what happened yesterday. As everywhere we go, I had to translate for Z, I became so good in chinese, when we were in Shenzhen, so many of th locals thought I was from china cause they said I speak so FLUENTLY.

Am I dreaming or what? Im like BFF with "chinese-cannot -make-it-clan", even my secondary school chinese teacher was so happy that I got C6 got chinese! I also had passengers complaining about the chinese annoucements I made! So proud of myself. A pat :)

Last day, so we had to go a lil crazy... and we did...I was wearing heels jumping on th bed..

Sadly, his camera died before we could continue further because it dropped hard on th ground and th lens came out. I cant imagine what would happen if coco became like that. I think I'll just hyperventilate.

Before we start our crazy shopping again today... we went to change more $$ to shop again!

Th day seems so tiring and all today. I think th crazy shopping for th past few days without much food really drained us. Did my red nails that was suppose to cost 10Yuan only but became 40 Yuan after that guy psycho me about this buffing cream that would help make my nails stronger. I thought I was strong enough to say no... shit. My supposedly SGD2 manicure became SGD8. Just like that.

I had some local sweetsourspicy noodle and dumpling for dinner while that indiaboy had macs. Darn mac crew, kept complaining about me eating at mac.

Cant believe Jillian said this look like Bugis Street, come to think of it.. it does a bit! hahah.

Journey to airport - 150Yuan.. thank god we still had cash.

If you're going back to singapore, you'll have to go terminal D international terminal. So most taxis like ours will drop you at th domestic terminal A, than you go down one level to th arrival hall...walk all th way to right and out of th building towards another small, really small building to this international terminal which really looks SO DAMN SMALL. Not impressive at all.

Man, th check in was horribly long. I could steal a nap and they're still not done yet.

We had to take bus to th plane..

When we got back.. PingPing was on our flight together with annie and 2 more crew. We took Uncle tony back. Thank god.

I cant believe I actually slept th entire time on th plane. Now I finally understand how people can sleep throughout th flight, cause I never do that, even when I was on an 18hour flight to US.

Reached home at 4+am. What a trip!

Lets get lost - Hongkong/Shenzhen Day 3

MORNING MORNING MORNING. hahaha. Im always so high when Im overseas...

Kinda our third day in hongkong. Actually wait, not really. It more like 2nd day because th 1st day dont really count but ohwell.. Today, I had to wake up even earlier than usual because we need to pack our stuffs to check out and go shenzhen.

I totally love my new H&M bag :))

So we went to check out and many many people said I should try smellytoufu on facebook omg. For real?! Z also left his stack of cash pouch in th room, thank god they didnt clean th room yet.

While on th way to having another local breakfast, my bangkok wedges just gave way. It totally came off. I was so embarrased with every step that I took. So annoying how people keeps staring at it. Making me feel more insecure only. Dammit.

Th another must thing to try in hongkong is th wanton noodle. I know right! We got ourselves some youtiao and soyabean while on th hunt for some wanton noodle shop. Its not that easy to find as I thought it would be. I thought every shop had to have at least a wanton noodle right?!!

Here it comes! And it seriously doesnt taste THAT good. How can it be th signature dish, th must try in hongkong?!! Its even comparable to th one I ate th transit area... but th wanton, I must say is really Oh la la~

Oh yes, another must try in hongkong - smellytoufu. I know there's like so many must try right? haha. But I didnt even get to eat their dimsum so sad! So anyway, after 2 days of considerations, I finally plucked th courage to buy th smelly toufu. 8HKD for one toufu.

OMG. It taste EXACTLY like how it smelt. Like shit. I had 2 bites just to make sure th taste is really good BUT NO! Its not. I warn anybody going to try that. Please. We walked round and round trying to find th shuttle bus to our hotel and finally found it.. Th moment I cleared th immigration in china.. I had to hide my camera... so many faces were staring at us with that "I wanna rob you face" So irritating.

And gosh.. while checking our bags.. some idiotic china people pushed us to cut th queue and threw their bags.. squashing mine, than they still TSK so loudly at me. Moronhead! KILL YOU!

Our hotel was just a 5mins drive from th hongkong/shenzhen checkpoint...Shanshui Trends Hotel.. and our room..

They sell funny stuffs like vibrating condom and some ring thing.. damn funny luh. Even disposable panties. Not bad eh...

Taking th cab to dongmen area for some shopping time.. This idiot taxi trying to con me. Taxi fare was 12RMB but when I took out 15RMB he said "oh its 15 because you add another 3RMB for another extra person" WTF. Cause we were too lazy to argue.. I just handed him and walked out. You bitch. I believe in karma. You'll get yours soon.

We went damn crazy shopping at dongmen.. and I earlier, was still telling Z said Im going to get just 2 stuffs from shenzhen. IMPOSSIBLE can. I totally bought more than hongkong side.

After all that shopping... we went to this "Paradise of th red apple" kind of small themepark and paid 5yuan perperson for this crazy ride... totally insane. We were shouting fuck th entire time. I even teared during th ride. We were literally begging th guy to stop... they stopped so long when we were upside down.. blood gushing to our head real quickly.

Cant believe that we had that cheap thrill hahah! hahahaha. And beer.. EVEN cheaper here. and this is just convenience store. Imagine supermarket. Its only 4yuan for that big bottle of th famous Tsing something beer..

This convenience store was just beside our hotel and I really love their 3Y peach tea :) shiok. And Z is eating laksa in th room with comb.. so pathetic luh... haha.

GOOD MORNING HONG KONG!

Woke up really early after yesterday's good night rest. I was looking at my phone this morning : 6.30am and it was already as bright as 11am in th morning! H&M here we come!

But first, some breakfast to kick off hongkong H&M insane shopping later.. I wanted to become like one of th locals... eat what they eat and do what they do.. so I selected this shop that looks very hongkong.. like what I see on tv shows...

Th fruit juice is such a conner. Its actually those fruit cocktail than they add ice. Super sweet like mad. However, my porkie bun made up for it.. its super nice :))))

After what I told him last night.. he's still so stubborn.. wanting to eating KFC fastfood for breakfast again...

After that breakfast that got us all prepped up..we ran to H&M.. insane shopping officially begins..

We took so much clothes... I could feel my arm becoming numb because there was no blood flow... and I tried so much too... after we bought our stuffs.. we went out.. and found ourselves back in again... tsk!

It was so difficult to leave that place.. and it burned a hole in our pocket really badly cause there wasnt any sales..We moved on to walked around th langsam place mall before moving to taking th train to Tsim Sha Tsui - TST, we call it.

Nevertheless.. we walked around th area... walking on this 3km bridge only to find ourselves turning back right as we're about to reach th end to enter hongkong island.

We bought another ticket back and returned back to where we came from....this time we bought th first class ticket.. hehe...

Sigh, more shopping after we came back from th boat ride..

Now, we were on a quest to find temple street.. we walked and walked..

and unknowingly.. found out that we reached temple street! WOOHOO! :) We walked so much that we walked beyong th scope of th map.. cause initially, we were at th end of the map page.. than we walked and walked and realise we were beyond th top of the map.. and th map was pretty big eh... all th crazy walking...

Temple street was better but we didnt buy much...we walked all th way from TST to mongkok and didnt get lost. Wonderful. Still this pig, had to go KFC again to eat, when he had it for breakfast this morning. KFC here is so much better.. they provide gloves for whoever who wants to enjoy their chicken in peace.. Singapore should learn a thing or two from them...

Lets get lost - Hongkong/Shenzhen Day 1

We were so desperate to get on th morning flight but we couldnt at all. Dammit. While discussing with Z about our plans in th morning about 10+am... I randomly tried on th new website for ___ and rejoice! It worked! Very soon, we were booking ourselves th afternoon hongkong flight. I couldnt wait and went to th airport super duper early to retrieve my luggage at T2 before we set off to try our luck at th counter.

Every minute in th queue made us want to wet our pants. So nerve wrecking! What if we cant go up at all? Or what if only one can go up? Or what if.... just to sum up = too many worries. But th moment th lady printed th ticket for us.. OMGGG I could feel th relief, th burden all lifted up from my shoulder. I suddenly felt so light I could FLY.

I never felt this high before. I was overzealous. AHHH. I want to scream for joy!!! :)

We quickly went in... not th usual route to th transit area.. and z bought th cigarettes so quickly, th moment we stepped in transit. Crazy smoker. Well on th other hand, I indulge on a plate of shrimp noodle that tasted quite bad, im never gonna eat that again.

On our flight today was Moe, Pravin, San San and Arene. Nice :)

Th flight passed by pretty fast, and we arrived at hongkong safely! Whee, all we've been waiting for!

Th journey around th airport is tedious. We had to take countless of travellators, escaltors, skytrain.. than walk this tunnel and that.. tsk!

We even got lost trying to find th bus interchange.. but we finally found it...

Taking th citybus express A21 to mongkok...

Their bus is so cool! Got so many luggage storage area.. seats are more comfortable and stuffs...

We are such sotongs.. going to a country without doing any research... see, now we alighted 3 stops away from th orignal stop we were supposed to stop. And man, that original stop is like what, 10km away?

We literally had to lug our luggage around th streets of hongkong to find that bus stop.

Like we missed our bus stop was not bad enough, we couldnt find our hostel and walked round and round like some nomads. Its kinda like those travel documentaries : lets get lost! hahaha.

Oh... when we found our hostel, thank god (without th help of any locals because no one knew where th hell is th place), we went to th wrong storey(8th floor) and had to go down to ground level to take th lift up again to 14th floor where th reception was because th lift does not go up at any level, only from ground floor. Seems quite bad right ! Still not done yet!

After we checked in.. while th lady went to get towels for us, we missed th lift and had to go down 2 storeys to our room which was like a maze, turn in here, then there and another here and there. WITH OUR LUGGAGE. This is probably th equivalent of a marathon or worse.

Th room is so plain to display here but we threw our stuffs and head out to th streets.

First stop: Getting milk tea. Its a must in hongkong... I got th yam milktea. So much nicer than singapore and th pearl is never ending. Like suck also cannot suck finish.

After our failed shopping at ladies street where we didnt managed to get anything except food, we moved on to macs.. tsk.. who goes overseas to eat fastfood right? Only this retard lo..HAHA!

But as I was people watching.. I noticed everyone has really good dress sense. I felt so underdressed for hongkong. Th youngster can really dress, and I mean it. I dont even see anyone with flipflops or simple tee and shorts. Th people actually made th effort to dress up.. no wonder th girls all look so good.

And while we were snacking on macs... I realised.. its past 1am and there's still so much people in macs... th nightlife here is really damn good too..

It was already 2+am and still there are so many people walking in th streets.. so cool.. and th thing was, its a tuesday! You can never find this kind of scene in singapore. Not even clarke quay.

Managed to settle my hongkongtrip before I left for Perth flight today. So much stuffs to settle.

I signed on just slightly late and was already FRed down. So sad. KC and Fathin too. Well at least it was nice to have them around today. CIC as even my own batchmate, rizan. All 4 from same batch. Cool or what. Flight was good too. I really like perth flights. Got hot guys to oogle at, people are generally nicer. You can lose weight by walking up and down th cabin doing mulitple cabin checks.. sales are good and more.

When I arrived, I was greeted with bad news. My morning hongkong flight was rejected. Freaking sad like mad. Hotel is booked already and my luggage is in th airport already. All I need to do is fly. Why must this happen! What a screwup!

Finally my first flight of th month. Im so lucky. I've been given so many offs and yet I still get th same pay. Which internship would let you work for 4 days in th whole month and get th same pay?! Shiok only. Th thing is I dont even work for more than 8 hours if my flight is short. Heheh, making myself more happy only. haha.

Had Hanoi flight with super nice crew like Katherine, Simin and Maricel. My other days have good crew too. Awww.. So lovin it. Met up with Zhafir and Pravin right after flight to discuss project. Home straight after to pack my luggage. No more time to pack. Gahh, cant wait!

Today is Hari Raya Puasa, like I care because I dont fast BUT its like a day not meant for me. Adrina and I was supposed to go wavehouse to surf, but when I got there, I realised I didnt bring my card and plan to surprise Jess failed because she didnt go wavehouse at all.

When we wanted to wait for th next available slot, its 3hours later. See, not meant to ride after all! Thank god A was understanding.

But it was fun watching "Jesus" ride. HAHA. There's this guy who looks liks jesus and he even told Jojo " ever seen jesus ride?" hahaha. He's so funny to watch. There was this popping guy who totally looks like he's doing th popping and locking dance move instead of surfing.

Thai express at vivo for dinner with adrina and jojo. Sweet crayfish with glass noodle. Cant get any better.

We met up at Bugis, grabbed some humongous sausage from Dongdaemun before heading over to snag up another bite at Apple strudel shop across th street. TH apple strudel I must say is SO HUGE for 1 person appetite. How can this ->

be $3+? So cheap for such epic proportion. Phew. Just those 2 snacks alone made us so bloated already.

We were on our way to Ikea then adrina had to settle stuffs in town and there we went. Ikea straight after where belly joined us for our meatball quest.

I cant sleep th entire night yesterday. I even got up at 3.30am in th morning, thinking it was 6am already. I had lesson at 7am today till 9am.. than my driving test.

Ever since I failed my first TP during June, I have not had any lesson till last week. Where I had one lesson, than yesterday and today final warm up. Th thing was, both yesterday and today I had one hour circuit each which meant :2hours on road practise only. Fook. Im super bad at overtaking and filtering, I always get horned at.

Even this morning, my warm up was really very bad. Another near death accident almsot occured again.

I thought, this is it man, Im going to fail. I even yawned so many times at th waiting room. Th instructor was shaking his head th whole time... and told me: "your driving like that how can? No good you know..." I was like.. holy. This is it man. Im prepared for another depression phase.

Its th end of th month! Time has fast forward so darn fast. A minute ago, I still recalling counting down to 2010, now its already near september oh gosh. I had morning saigon flight.

I head down to school with my ultra big trolley and cosplay makeup. Read some books in th library before Pig and I settled down at design school for some lunch cum tea where I also met th lecturers. Belly joined us and we moved on to katong for some manicure session before I left in a jiffy again. This time to Ehub!

Th bus ride was so long, my butt was almost glued to that seat. When I stood up, I could feel my butt muscles or fats were literally numb.

Dinner at nihon___? Finally, we're meeting up after almost 3years of being classmates. Our clique has never gone out just th 5 of us before! There's always either someone missing or someguys with us. Can you imagine, we only met up when we're finishing SIP. This is so sad!

When I woke up this morning and looked at my watch, thats when I know life is screwed. Woke up about 11+am in th morning and everyone else is still busy sleeping but I had plans to meet Sarah for ice skating at 2pm and I havent even gotten my winter clothings.

Managed to change timing to 3pm so I had a stoning breakfast of hotdog wrapped with prata and its pretty nice I must say. After last night crazy party at Silk, Juju parents send us back and I went to her place to stayover for th 2nd night. Woke up near afternoon and return my real home. After much resting, Jess said she wanted to meet up but we couldnt fix on a place to meet, in th end, we ended up in Juju's house again. STAYOVER for th 3rd night already! so cool! hahaha.

We went to her place and gossip and chatted, had super sinful late night supper like chocolates and tom yum maggie and sweets and while Jess was busy studying, I was busy chionging th blogpost I was supposed to do by today. Gahh.

Managed to catch some sleep finally at 4am. My oh my, whats gonna happen to my skin man.

Continuing yesterday post. After we cabbed to Juju's place, we settled down and chatted for some time before we all slept at what, 5am+? Waking up at 10am was torture. I went back home with Chye. Need to get beach stuffs. Than I rushed out to mean Juju to go sentosa..

Really didnt have time to think of what dress to wear, so I just wore th one I bought today..And its so nice! Im totally lovin it!

So as title suggest its Juju's birthday but before that, I had morning KL flight. KL flights are such darling. Its so easy and before you know it, you're back in singapore. Passengers are 98% nice most of th time and there isnt much to worry.

Supposed to cable today but lazy bum me just stayed at home and went to meet Jess only at night. Im wearing super POP colour today. Bright green and bright pink skirt.

Th pictures are all scrambled up but basically, it was a really fun fun night. Though Juju came pretty late, still so glad she had a really fun time. Still can *er-hem,er-hem* somemore. HAHA.

She got us 2 bottles and they gave us a mini one for free, so cute! Loads of girls came too.

Screwedup. I cant go for th really important meeting in school because of a clark flight. On th brighter side, it let me get into filippino passengers who can teach me tagalog... BUT, everyone was sleeping. Morning flight thats why.

Th only people who are awake are th couples who prob wouldnt want me to invade their privacy. Oh well. Im trying hard to learn tagalog. Need to impress my mom and it'll be useful for my OCP trip. I mean, how do you expect to teach foreign students english in english right? Have to teach them in their language. If I can master Ilocano, that'll be best too.

Im so useless. I only know th vulgarities. You see, dad is chinese, I cant converse well in chinese. Mom is filipino, I dont know tagalog. I dont know my dad's dialect, canotonese and my mom's dialect ilocano too. And its not like I have perfect english. SO basically I suck at every language.

Even though I learned basic japanese previously, all is gone from my screwupmind that forgets everything. I need a skill. I jsut realise im good in nothing too. Damn it. What have I been doing th past 18 years of my life?!

Hong kong flight today. Nothing much except a passenger who came to th back to chat and take pictures with us. He's pretty funny and all.

He's a producer and he's gonna film our big boss Tony Davis. So cool! And he's gonna film tiger for documentary and all. He's gonna be filming th YOG closing tmr too if Im not wrong. He's mad funny luh, he even invited us to th closing ceremony for th YOG thing. Too bad Ive got flight.

Thought I was going to be lost i orientation after 3 days of offs but everything was still alright. Nice crew - Simin, Amber, Aishah and shit, who's my cic ah?!

okay somebody really pissed me off today. Really made me reach my boiling point, I was on th verge of screwing up that person. Cant write it here just in case I get sued or whatever but screw you piece of shit. You got no authority you bias fat ass!

Im so so so so so lucky! :))

I got specially selected by Nuffnang for the pizza hut food tasting treat at Suntec pizza hut.

So even the before th event started I was pretty paranoid at home. I was thinking if its gonna be awkward and all if Im going there alone but it was nowhere close to awkward when I arrived there!

Th other bloggers were all already settled in the red comfy chairs admist all th colourful decor and chatting so happily. I joined one of the tables quickly clicked with th girls. See, I was paranoid for nothing! Everybody seemed to be feeling so comfortable and chatty!

The lovely nuffnang and pizza hut staff making sure we enjoy our food experience, aww!

We were allowed to get any drinks and Mango Tango sounded so good, I had to try it..

Soon, our appetizer was served and first up was the signature Seafood Tofu Salad (SGD6.90) :))

This reminds me of my favourite tofu my mom would always buy for me... and the bowl is so huge! SGD$6.90 for such a big bowl of salad, so worth it right! :)))

Oh oh oh!! Damn funny. When the food is served, everyone whipped out their cameras and started spamming the camera ! This is the only time where no one will complain when you take pictures of the food before actually eating them. Because, everytime Im out with my friends, everybody will go, " not again! "when I take out my camera.

But here, people will be more than happy to help you take photos! Finally found my second half! Hahahaha!! They know best man!

The Chicken Riblets (SGD5.80) and Signature Hut's Platter (SGD12.50)was soon served...

Everyone looks so into the food...

So everyone always relate pizza hut to pizzas right? Who would have knew they have such good pasta too! We were given 2 types of pizza to try, for EACH person! Got a shock! I thought we were all going to share or something...

So first pasta was the Char-grilled Chicken Parchment Pasta(SGD11.90).

I was so impressed! What a fresh concept! They served pasta in sucha uinque manner..scroll down to understand....

Cool right! Got such a cute peg somemore! Pasta perfetto baby! HAHA!

Had to take photo with it... so interesting! Have to camwhore it man!

So I unveiled the paper cover and the creamy pasta got my attention. It had chunky chicken meat with ham and mushroom and the sauce was drowning the pasta, the way I love it.

The pasta was really filling! Im even thinking how Im going to eat the next plate of pasta.

I think I need to seriously run tomorrow. Eating all the appetizers and pastas and I even heard there was going to be dessert served shortly! Gasp!

The pasta was good too! Thought it wasnt as spciy as I hope it would be but it was tasty and had that tinch of seafood flavour. Again, the sauce was pleasantly sufficient for the pasta just the way I like it :)

Overall, the food was surprisingly good. Better than some pasta restaurants Ive been too. Seriously. This taught me not to judge a book by its cover. Doesnt mean pizza hut only serves awesome pizzas, they serve awesome pasta too! :))

Good food makes people happy... Totally agree with this. Thats why we could camwhore even when we were filling so full from all the food.

Just when we thought the food tasting is done, we received yet another surprise! Pizza hut had kindly gave us a bag of wonderful goodies like this one...

They are so nice !!! They gave us pasta, the sauce, apron, tin, CD and sweet! awwww! :DD

What a lovely experience. For a first time to such food tasting event by nuffnang, Im taken aback. The people are nice, the food is appealing and the whole atmosphere just makes you feel like you could sit there for hours and hours savoring your favourite pasta.

After that heavy dinner, I swear to myself Im going to run today. But I didnt. I hate it. I always make promises that I can never stick to. Ive got no self discipline. I can go become an animal now luh. whats the point in having a brain when all it thinks about is FOOD FOOD FOOD.

I met up with Olivia at town to catch a movie and we grabbed some dinner that apparently was so stupid of me. I actually ordered a pasta set with soup and drink and realized how foolish I was.. we were sitted at the first row and obviously there wasnt going to be any tables I thought we had.. so can you imagine, dipping garlic bread in the hot soup and holding it while watching the movie?! So dumb!

Oh I watched Step up 3 and it was fantabulous! I mean, how can dance movies go wrong right? Step up movies always inspires me to dance. Its like the best thing to do if set you for th mood to dance. Watch a good dancing movie. Th female dancer, main one, had such good bod. Self esteem instantly plummets down to negative already.

After that super filling dinner and movie.. we went to walk around before deciding to go Old Hong Kong cafe at Katong to catch up...

I like this place because Firstly its 24hours. YAY!

Secondly, it isnt as crowded as many other place, very chillax feeling.

Thirdly, its at katong, one of my favourite areas

and Finally, we had comfy chairs! :) If you go starbucks chill, sometimes you have to sit at the uncomfortable wooden chairs that always make your butt goes numb.

Thats why we could chat so freely until I saw my watch 4.30am already?!! Time to head back!

Cabbed home and need to be up in 2hours time. HOLYY.

Had another bangkok flight today, first time flying with Suriani. Together with us today is mario, keli, fadzlynn, nadjah and katie too. For some reason, today's bangkok flight had so much better sales than yesterday, didnt seem as boring compared to yesterday.

I really realy hate myself these days. I eat way toooo much its beyong humane. I finished one whole packet of economic rice and ate another big bowl of instant noodles. Damn glutton man! After which when I went to sleep pretty early, I woke up at 2am feeling hungry again and found myself eating 2 bowls of cereal again. Fuck man. I really really really hate myself. Ive got no more self-discipline.

I wanna rewind back to my secondary school years where I really detest eating. PLEASEEE. IM in desperate condition right now!

I woke up early in th morning, doing my usual stuffs before work commence. Im dabing eyeshadow and abruptly my phone began ringing, its coming from logistics. "flight cancelled?" :))

I was hyped up for nothing. LCC told me my hong kong flight has been changed to bangkok flight because I cant do A319. What a waste. Managed to make it for th earlier reporting time and even though flight changed, I was still working with Zhafir. I prepared my stuffs for sentosa for nothing! I'll be coming back by noon. Shucks.

So I went home and slept for a while before heading to wavehouse and life really sucks man, I missed th sentosa shuttle us just by a second. ONE second only. Thank god th next bus is half an hour later. Met sam and felly at topshop before I rush to catch th bus again. Met Jess and Steph at wh till Fiona came.

Okay these pictures are from friday th 13th clubbing night to commemerate abu's birthday and olivia's farewell. I really didnt wanted to go that night but th power of persuasion landed me there. There was quite a lot of us who went but we kept splitting up.

There was me, olivia, aishah, pravin, jeriah, abu, his friends, cammy, trisan?, forgot th other name too shit, sean, mark, david, adam and gordon. we went club hopping from butter to arena after butter ended early.

It was a great night with many stories right aishah? haha..

th start of IT fair kicks off today and Im in desperate need of getting my hands on th macbook pro. Want it so badly. Mommy get me one please ! :) haha. We can add one more laptop to our countless computers collection haha.

Gonna meet zhafir at 3pm but ended up late because th nail palour that I did my nails were crowded and I had to wait half an hour.. so meanwhile, sis and I went to grab some ovaltine ice cream drink from th famous KOI bubble tea...

Been quite sastified these days because I havent been using eyeliner except for clubbing and for work. Grins :) Of course I look horrible but gotta get used to it. Dont wanna depend on it...

After a shameless 2hour delay, i finally met zhafir at Marine parade library and its such a lousy library for ppl planning to do project or use th powerplug. we quickly shift to some random void deck before I head off to ski 360 at east coast park to ride. Met Gary, Markus and Ivan waiting for me to arrive before Gary and I went to ride. Saw Jerald and Alex over there too.

Riding was good with many bad same mistakes but at least I made one round :))) woohoo! FINALLY. Always fall at th bouys there. Made some new friends like fiona and clara who are new enthiasts to this sport. Cool :) Made more friends with th staff over there too haha...th environent just feels so wavehousey.. just that wavehouse feel much better..

Dinner at siglap before a nice walk home... Need to rush a lot of things and emails.. save me!

Plans to go wh to ride today is postponed to next week translating a free day today.

Jojo asked me out for a day of movie but we ended in town eating at subway and walking around looking for his blazer... than we moved on to vivo to maybe go surf but lazy us just got th better of us and we ended up walking around and eating again.. hahaha..

I really was so hyper about this chamber thing and would get in immediately if not for my dry contacts. Eyes are still quite red today.

Felt really bad because I was supposed to meet zhafir but last minute I cancelled it because I wanted more rest for my red eyes. Apologies!

Im doing a chennai flight today, sigh. Flying with Estella, Nicholas and Betty. Th 3 of us, Estella and Nicholas flew together quite some time man! It was a good flight though baggage is always th problem again. Sales was pretty good and all. What made th night unpleasant was th dry eyes that constantly haunt me every 10 minutes or so. And lawrence, who was an optmetry cum FO told me I might have an eye infection. :#

Think I really need to get my eye checked or I'll probably tear with blood someday. Scary.

language breakdown

After 3 awesome off days, Im going back to work. Had a flight ith Shah, Marc and Hadi. Finally able to fly with Hadi after million years. Flight was alright just that I think my eyes got a slight burnt from th gushes of air from th oven and my eyes only got worst and worst. It was soo bad by the end of th flight, my eyes were damn bloody looking. And marc was nice to help me with cabin check while I make th chinese announcement.

As blatant as it seems, I was th only chinese female onboard and so I had to make th chinese annoucement and th safety demonstration announcement was so long I think th captain was actually waiting for me to finish before he took off! Gosh. And this passenger came to th aft galley and asked me,

''were you th one who made th chinese announcement? It was SO bad"

Gulped.

Well at least it improved after much tries but it was still very very bad. I need to really start talking in chinese man.

Okay, pig initially had plans to tag his family to buy WII for his little brother. I know right! Life sucks. Kids nowadays are so lucky. I thought I saw primary school kid carrying iphone. Okay, thats not th point. So he was nice enough to accompany me on my off day on a weekend.

Since we can never fix on th location we like, RWS coffeebean shall be it. We caught th 3pm tampines shuttle bus. And I was so darn lucky. If I came a second later th bus would have gone without me. We head over to coffeebean and kept changing positions. I dont know why everyone kept looking at us when we entered. Oh well.

Popped by to say hi.. and saw elle, vincent, sham, Jan, junk, authur. Nat ho was having his 26th birthday celebration at wh with his 20years younger fans. So wierd, but as long as he likes it, Ive got no say. And there was SO many caucasian dudes at wh today. And jan said cause probably they were from th US navy that just arrived at sg. Awesome.

As I was walking back and forth to say hi, I saw this guy that looks like 98% Taio Cruz. No lie. I cant believe he could look so strikingly similiar. Lucky dude then. And cant rmb who asked me to get his number and I rmb replying, later he'll reject me and "break my heart" HAHA.

Ive gotten a mixed cone ice cream from Manpuku. Day cant seem any better :))

one month ago, I visited a clinic in thomson medical center in th midst of Square 2 with such horrible skin condition, its good enough to be a halloween costume. One month later, my skin has really improved a lot, so much that my breakout is really under control. Dr Loke is really good.

If there is anyone with really bad acne problems, I would reckon you pay a visit to him. Though his charges are expensive, like I paid $233 and $203 for th first and second session, it was all worth it. Results are apparent and sastifying.

I made a trip down today to get new medication for my scars and damn there was something really funny that happened. So there was 2 rows of seats in the clinic. I was sitting at th second row or seats and all was peaceful and quiet when suddenly an old man stood up.

and abruptly, there was this string of fart sound that started and stopped like a machine gun. It was mad hilarious yet freaking gross. I mean, in a room of silence, obviously all attention went to that old hag and he just stood there pretending nothing had happened when CLEARLY it did.

and damn, I was th freaking victim. I was sitting JUST right behind him. Im such blonde. Im never EVER going to sit behind anybody old anymore. Seriously man. I think 90% of th air I breathed in was probably 100% of th air that just came out of his ass. FML.

Enough said, I went back to th east for my first driving lesson after my shameful failure on 18th june. I was so afraid I would crash someone cause I havent driven for so long.

Lunch before that and ice horlicks is orgasmic :)

My first lesson went really well. I could still grasp on to my basics and all. But Im still so stressed up with th upcoming TP. If only I can bribe them. Shit man.So darn tempted.
